Strang
Architects
Strang is a Miami architecture and design studio founded by Max Strang, recognized for high-end residential work built around a self-coined philosophy of "Environmental Modernism." The practice designs site- and climate-responsive modern homes — many on Florida waterfront sites — that respond to the subtropical setting through orientation, shade, materials and a strong indoor-outdoor relationship. Based in the Coconut Grove area of Miami, the firm has an award-winning, widely published portfolio, with projects reaching beyond Florida to the Bahamas and Caribbean, Colorado and the UAE. As a licensed architecture practice, Strang carries custom residences from concept through the technical drawings, permitting and construction administration a complex home demands, coordinating closely with engineers and builders. For a homeowner seeking a rigorously modern, environmentally attuned custom home in Miami, Strang is one of the city's most respected residential studios.
